Foundation Fundraising
The Peel Senior Link Foundation

Peel Senior Link is a non-profit organization funded by the Ministry of Health Long Term Care.
Presently 7.2 % of the Region of Peel population is over the age of 65
and by the year 2031 it is expected to be over 20%! Studies show that
4.2% of persons living in the community over the age of 65 suffer from
a dementia and 56% between 75 and 84 years of age have a disability.
The current under-funding of in-home community services is an acute
priority if the elderly are to remain in their homes supported by
services like Peel Senior Link. Without funding, senior care services
will become inadequate and institutionalization becomes the only
alternative. The elderly ought to be able to live independently and
remain connected to their families, friends and communities.
This is an important responsibility to be shared by all.
That’s why, Peel Senior Link has established this foundation. Your
financial support will see that Peel Senior Link’s services continue to
prevent loss of health, loneliness and confusion in our elders.
